Mexico Overview
Mexico, officially known as the United States of Mexico, is a republic located in the southern half of the North American continent. South of Mexico, with the United States to its north, is the Pacific Ocean. With an area of approximately 2 million square meters, it is the sixth-largest country in the Americas and the eleventh most populous country in the world in terms of population. Its official language is Spanish. The largest city and capital of the country is Mexico City. Guadalajara, Monterrey, Puebla, Toluca, Tijuana, and Leon are the other metropolitan areas of the country.
A Brief History of Mexico

Coffee farms in Mexico belong to more than 500,000 small-scale agricultural families, and mostly high-quality Arabica coffees are produced in Mexico. Today, Mexico is the largest supplier of the US coffee market, and coffee farms in Mexico are spread over the country's 12 states. The coffee industry is an important sector in Mexico that contributes to employment.
